Location

Denmark is on the south coast of Western Australia 414km from Perth via Albany Hwy (Route 30) and Mt Barker. It is 57km west of the regional centre Albany.

An alternate route is via Mandurah, Bunbury, Manjimup and Walpole. This is a longer but far more scenic drive. It does however require a longer travelling time that the faster, more direct route down Albany Highway.

If you don't have your own transport there are several alternatives:

  • commercial aircraft fly morning and evening into Albany (Skywest)
  • hire a car from Perth or Albany
  • Denmark airport for private or charter flights (Denmark Air Taxi)
  • daily rail/bus service from Perth via Bunbury (TransWA)
  • daily bus service from Perth to Albany (TransWA) then taxi or hire car to Denmark
