A number of buildings served the mill including the largest, a loco shed. The shed would have been encroaching onto the current highway where the newsagency is today.
The street on the uphill side of the supermarket (behind building above yacht sail) was the uppermost of the railway lines serving the mill. Logs were brought into the mill at the top level and eventually left from the bottom levels as sawn timber.
